Pedro’s Castle - Cayman Islands

Pedro’s Castle is the oldest building on the island, and legend has it that it was constructed in 1635. Other theories claim that the building was erected by an Englishman in 1780. Either way, this national symbol was named after the settler and, allegedly, the first constructor, Pedro Gomez.
